Did you know that nature is a co-therapist? Are you wondering about alternative mental health services which are not sitting in an indoor therapy room? Are you or your child hesitant in receiving mental health services? You might want to check out Nature-Based Therapy. Nature-based therapy in St. Paul and Roseville area are outdoors year round. You are a collaborator in a treatment plan which is created from a comprehensive assessment and can involve your primary physician as needed. The location will be determined with you to find a setting which is most helpful to you. I gladly explore with you if nature-based therapy could be a good fit for you.
Including our ecosystem in our healing by connecting with nature and finding to our roots has shown great benefits for humans' wellbeing and our planetary health.

Forest Therapy Group for Youth with ADHD in St. Paul, MN Dates: Spring 2025
Location: Como Woodland Outdoor Classroom

Are you looking for a fun, engaging, and therapeutic way to help your child with difficulty in attention, focus, problem-solving, impulsivity, organization, regulating emotions, calming, listening, following multiple steps, cooperation with others, reading others social cues or any other ADHD symptoms? Our Nature-Based ADHD Support Program offers a unique and effective approach to improving attention, behavior, and social skills in children aged 8-12.Over the course of six weeks, children will participate in structured outdoor activities designed to harness the calming and stimulating effects of nature.
Through physical exercises, mindfulness practices, cooperative games, and creative projects, our program aims to support children in managing ADHD symptoms while fostering social connections and emotional well-being. Your child does not need to have an ADHD diagnosis but might be struggling with ADHD-like symptoms. If you are not sure if this program would be a good fit for your child, don’t hesitate to reach out and we will collaborate together.
The group will take place at Como Woodland Outdoor Classroom, in St. Paul, MN starting September facilitated by two guides (Forest Therapy Practitioner and Outdoor Counselor). Weather appropriate clothing will be important for a good outdoor time. If there is severe weather advisory we will inform participants/guardians the morning off that the session is canceled. We will add make up sessions at the end.
