🌿 Your Journey: From Vineyard to Summit

A soul-deep, nature-immersive path to wholeness, freedom, and feeling fully alive.

You begin on the Balcony of Lake Geneva, where vineyards stretch toward the sparkling blue below and the sun warms your skin. The air is rich with the scent of grapes and lavender, and something in you begins to loosen. As you walk between the vines, held by earth and sky, you’re invited to pause, receive, and remember your worth. These vines—rooted, nourished, and fruitful—mirror your own longing to feel connected, grounded, and whole.

Next, you enter the hush of the forest, where the trees rise tall and still around you. The air is pure and cool, and the scent of pine and moss fills your lungs as you walk slowly, gently arriving in your own body again. Birds sing in the distance. Water flows over stone. Here, you don’t need to fix or strive—you simply get to be. Surrounded by awe-inspiring beauty, you feel something awaken: deep peace, clarity, and the sacred whisper that you are more than what you do. You are already enough.

Finally, you reach the summit. High above the valley, with glacier peaks surrounding you and silence stretching in every direction, you speak a new truth over your life. Your body is steady, your heart is open, and you feel completely, undeniably alive. In that vast stillness, you realize: you’ve come home to yourself—and you are free.

Trip Leader

SECTION 11: TRIP LEADERS (BIOS)

Writing in the first-person “I,” share your hero’s or shero’s journey and your big why. Let folks know a little about you, the pertinent challenges you’ve faced, and what inspired you to be doing the work you’re doing now. This shows them how and why you are qualified to run this trip. This is NOT your curriculum vitae or your resume but rather your own amazing life’s journey that brought you to where you are now. Be short and sweet!

Write a short bio in story form, and include a gorgeous headshot. Then, if applicable, add a short bio of your co-facilitator, also in first-person story form, especially if they are an equal co-facilitator. If you are the primary facilitator, it may be more appropriate to write bios of others in third person (you talking about them), especially if you’ve hired them for specific services.

Frequently Asked Questions

🛬 When should I arrive and depart?

We recommend arriving at Geneva Airport (GVA) by midday on Sunday, the first retreat day. The group transfer to our first hotel departs that afternoon. On Saturday (Day 7), we’ll return to the airport by late morning, so flights departing after 1:00 PM are ideal.

🧳 What should I pack?

Bring comfortable layers, including clothing for forest walks, cool mountain mornings, and spa or lake time. A more detailed packing list will be sent upon registration. Essentials include:

  • Hiking or trail shoes

  • Swimsuit + light towel

  • Journal + pen

  • Warm layers (mountain evenings can be chilly)

  • Small daypack or tote bag

🧘‍♀️ Do I need prior experience with meditation or forest bathing?

Not at all. All practices are guided and beginner-friendly, and you’re always invited to participate in a way that feels comfortable to you. This is a space for gentle exploration, not performance.

✝️ Is this a faith-based retreat?

Yes. While open to women from all walks of life, this retreat is gently rooted in Christian faith and spiritual reflection. There will be optional moments for prayer, spiritual journaling, and connecting with the Holy Spirit in nature. You are welcome as you are—no pressure, only invitation.

🥗 What if I have dietary restrictions?

Both hotels are happy to accommodate most dietary needs, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. Just let us know your requirements when registering, and we’ll take care of the rest.

🚐 Is transportation included?

Yes! Group transfers from Geneva Airport to both retreat locations—and between the vineyard and mountain regions—are included in your retreat package.

🛏 Can I choose a private room?

Yes, private and shared room options are available (based on availability). You’ll receive these details during the registration process, along with pricing for each option.

🌦 What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

We are prepared to adapt our outdoor experiences as needed. Some gentle rain is part of the forest magic—but indoor or covered alternatives are always available for group time and reflection.

Policy

SECTION 15: REGISTRATION w/ CANCELLATION POLICY (ON YOUR REGISTRATION PAGE) Explain your cancellation policy, rooming situation, and retreat costs.

Go back and grab your cancellation policy from your pricing spreadsheet and transfer it over to this section.

Repeat the What’s Included and What’s Not Included sections, which are part of your legal contract. Also re-emphasize the benefits by listing what they’ll take home with them, then add any additional information you want to share.

The key here is getting folks to FEEL and VISUALIZE themselves in your story. Just choose ONE powerful experience and elaborate on that, keeping it short and emotional and writing from the second-person “YOU” point of view. Describe the present moment as experienced through the eyes, ears, thoughts and feelings of your reader.

For example: “Walking the pristine ocean beach, you revel in the feel of the wet sand beneath your feet. Sounds of surf and seabirds delight your ears as a gentle wind caresses your skin. It’s still only the first day of the retreat, but never have you felt more relaxed and peaceful.

Never been to the location before or having a hard time writing this section?

  • Research the location online and look at photos.

  • Or rewind your memory and remember what it FELT like to be there.

  • Close your eyes and picture yourself at your location. Tap into your senses. What will you see, feel, taste, touch, and hear? Now open your eyes and write down what you imagined, putting your readers into the picture with present-tense “YOU” statements.

  • Ask your retreat venue for more info on specific activities.

Write 3-5 short, juicy paragraphs. Add several gorgeous photos.
