My passion is to support children and families with their physical and mental health. No matter where you live, your journey, or your story, I want to reach you and support you in discovering the joy and benefits of being in nature. In today's world, it's easy to forget our connection to nature. But by rediscovering our roots and aligning ourselves with the natural world, we can create robust, resilient communities and promote the development of sustainable, healthy environments. Let's work together to achieve a state of harmony with nature and unlock the incredible benefits of a more balanced, fulfilling life. With our collective efforts, we can make an impact on the world around us.
I love the wide green, blue lakes, and forests in Minnesota. Within the cities, we have a wonderful park and recreation system available. Most of them are accessible within minutes. In fact
St. Paul is #2 city of the nation for its urban park system.

I was born and raised in Switzerland in a mountain village. In 2011, my husband and I moved our family from Switzerland to Minnesota. With nearly 20 years of experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds, my work is person-centered, strength-based, culturally humble, trauma-informed, and integrates spirituality and faith into my therapeutic approach. My cross-cultural marriage and being a mom of four children allow me to understand the unique challenges families face today, and I am passionate about helping them discover the most effective ways to cope with stress and anxiety. Sometimes my therapy dogs join my work. Bailey and Pika were added to the family in the past 2 years.

The Journey to Holistic Nature-Based Mental Health Services
Forest Whisper Wellness & Healing is a holistic nature-based mental health service provider that offers preventive and complementary mental health care and therapy. My journey started with a deep connection to nature as I grew up in the Swiss mountains. Stepping into life, the world is filled with many challenges and suffering. Through my own experience and journey and through working with children and their families for more then 20 years I bring a compassionate and empowering approach, integrating my client's life story, culture and spirituality or faith into their wellness and healing plan. I have worked in residential foster care in Switzerland using a humanistic and family systems model to provide therapeutic interventions for children and consultation for caregivers and parents. Experiential adventure and nature-based therapy program was an integrated part in residential foster care. Also through my volunteer involvement in Swiss Scouts and children outdoor summer camps I have accumulated a range of experience working with children outdoors. The healing power of nature and its impact on physical and mental health is the center point of my work. By connecting with nature, one can find a sense of peace and balance that promotes wellbeing. I am passionate about preventive care by promoting physical and mental wellness through compassionate self-care, stress and anxiety reduction techniques. In America I worked in schools in social-emotional and behavior support and interventions using trauma-informed lens with humanistic, mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and Collaborative Proactive Solution Focused modalities for individual and group intervention services. I have a broad understanding of the school system, and the many challenges families, children, teachers, administrators and schools face in supporting each others mental health, managing anxiety, reducing stress, working through trauma, navigating challenges with ADHD, you name it. With my forest bathing guide and therapy practitioner certification I also have Red Cross CPR/AED and Wilderness First Aid certification to ensure all safety measures are in place while working with you in nature.
